I was going to a celebration this weekend, and noticed that with the cold, cloudy weather we've been having this spring in Washington that I didn't feel much like celebrating...

Wow! This is such a busy time of year. I haven't made it to the blog in quite a while, but I have been doing a lot of wonderful stuff with food this spring. It feels to great to be inspired about my diet!

I made this casserole for a potluck the other night and someone asked if the recipe was on our website. Well, I don't think it is yet, so I'm putting it up. This is one of my favorite things to do with wild greens....

Well, on my continuing quest to serve some organ meats to my family I made an absolutely delicious dish of braised beef heart last night. Even Rowan (age 8) ate it and liked it. (Of course I didn't tell him what it was until after he'd finished it all. He was very suprised and pleased.)
