On my visit to the Northwest HerbFest in July, a few of the teachers giving plant walks were gracious enough to allow me to tape them. From that festival, I have some footage from Dr. Victoria Larson, N.D. speaking on wild edibles as well as medicinals with Mountain Rose Herbs director Julie Bailey.
Also, we have a VERY rare treat. Herbalist and elder Mrs. Lane Furneaux of Dallas was on a visit to the Northwest last summer and she treated us to a rare glimpse of her favorite herbs. In her 89 years, Lane has established a unique relationship with the herbs that she shares with us on a stroll through Bastyr University's botanical gardens.
So far we have posted the first part of each Herb Walk. As time goes on, we will continue to post more segments. AND in time, I will tape more herbalists giving walks in the field.
